All About Ms. Bezio Please allow me to introduce myself. I am originally from Pulaski, New York. I attended Plattsburgh State University in the Adirondack Mountains and I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Oswego State University. I pursued my Master's Degree here at Columbus State University in Early Childhood. I began my career in Education as a Special Education Aide at Sandy Creek Elementary School in New York. I then moved to Phenix City, Alabama and was employed at The Medical Center as a Pharmacy Technician. Since my lifetime dream was to become a teacher, I began my teaching career at The Growing Room teaching the Georgia Pre-K Program. I worked there for 3 years where I developed a love for the program. I then moved on to the Muscogee County School System where I was hired at Cusseta Road Elementary School as a Pre-K teacher. After teaching there for a year, I returned to New York to be with my father who was ill. While there, I was Head Teacher at The Children's Center working with 3 & 4 year old children. After a year, I returned back to the South. I returned to Cusseta Road where I taught Pre-K for 11 years. I was a Pre-K teacher mentor for Georgia State for 2 years. I relocated to Columbus after getting married and I had my first and only child, a son, Jimmy in November 2010. This year, I will begin a brand new adventure teaching first grade at Dorothy Height Elementary School. This will be my ninth year here. I am VERY excited to be teaching your child and look forward to a wonderful year! I am currently a teacher mentor at DHES and I have an endorsement in being a Teacher Coach, as well. I am planning a school year with LOTS of learning. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch with me.
